Requirements for admission
to the European Board Examination of Phoniatrics
A completed medical degree is required for all applicants.
- For applicants from countries with completed ENT specialist training and additional specialist training in phoniatrics, participation in an EAP Training Course is mandatory.
- For applicants from countries with completed phoniatrics specialist training, participation in an EAP Training Course is recommended.
- For applicants from countries without phoniatrics training opportunities, there is a need for completed ENT specialist training with proof of qualifications from internships in the topics of voice/swallowing/speech disorders/language disorders/ pedagogical audiology.
- Confirmations of participation in specialist training courses and proof of internships can be presented. Participation in an EAP training course is mandatory.
